Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 5/30/24 from 4:00pm to 4:30pm. There were 37 children present, with 3 staff supervising. The children were observed knitting, making puzzles, playing games and departing for the day. 3 children's records, 4 staff records, attendance, medications and the center's drill records were reviewed to assess compliance. Based on observation, equipment inside the center was not maintained in an operable condition. Evidence: The armrest of the sofa chair in the classroom had a large hole, and the seat of the sofa chair had tears exposing the inner filling.
Plan of Correction:
The sofa chair will be repaired or removed from the classroom.
