A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 10/21/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted after school today. There are 4 staff with 35 children. 4 staff records were reviewed for specific items only. The full record is reviewed at the main office at another time. 3 children's records were reviewed, all were complete. Children were observed washing hands, eating snack, playing in the gym and participating in child driven activities. Medications, first aid supplies, emergency supplies, and snack menu are all in compliance.If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at 703-479-4678 or at Sarah.Marbert@dss.virginia.gov. LI was present today from 3:05 PM - 4:30 PM.A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
