Comments:
An unannounced inspection was conducted today, January 6, 2020 in response to a complaint received by the Fairfax Licensing Office on December 18, 2019. Interviews were conducted, files reviewed, and the physical space was examined today in regards to standard 410. there was not a preponderance of evidence to support the complaint, and the complaint is deemed "not valid". One violation, not related to the complaint, was cited during today's inspection. Please contact Kara Wright at kara.wright@dss.virginia.gov with questions regarding this inspection.
Based on record review, one of two children's records reviewed did not contain all required information. Evidence: The record for Child 1 did not contain one of two required emergency contacts.
Plan of Correction:
The [Child] was in foster care and there was not a person authorized to pick up. The mother has since adopted and will update the emergency contact.
