Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today after school. There are 65 children present with 5 staff. 5 staff records were reviewed for specific items only as the full record is reviewed at the main office at another time. 6 children's records were reviewed. all were complete. Emergency evacuation drills,, first aid supplies, emergency supplies, menu and required posted documents are all in compliance. The playground was not inspected today due to inclement weather. Children were observed washing hands, eating snack, during an emergency evacuations drill and transitioning to the gym. A subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was also conducted today.
Based on a review of medications, one medication duration is expired. Evidence: The medication authorization for Child #1, is signed by the physician for the current school year. The form is signed 4/6/19. The school year ended in August 2019.
Plan of Correction:
I will contact the parent to have a new form completed.
