Discussed with Center Supervisor (CS): Staff subbing at the center having all required documentation with them.
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated and concluded on 9/11/23. There were 29 children present with 3 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on a review of records, one staff did not have documentation of current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Evidence: Staff A's record did not contain current certification in CPR. Certification available for review was dated as expiring 8/2023. Staff stated they have been employed for 2 years.
Plan of Correction:
Staff member will be signed up for CPR course as soon as possible.
