Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 7:15am-9:00am. At the start of the inspection there were 8 children with 2 staff members. 14 additional children arrived throughout the morning for a total of 22 children. The first aid kit, 3 emergency medications, 4 children's records, 2 staff records, emergency materials, the physical plant, and evacuation drills were reviewed. Based on a review of emergency supplies, a working battery operated radio was not available. Evidence: 1. The radio that was located in the SACC program did not work without being plugged into an electrical outlet.
Plan of Correction:
We will get new batteries for the radio.
