Comments:
Today an unannounced Renewal Inspection took place between the hours of approximately 4:10 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. There were 2 classrooms observed with a total of 39 children with 3 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed engaging in free play, eating snack and playing on the playground. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, medication and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, the center did not obtain all information for children?s records.
Evidence: 1. Child #1?s record indicates an allergy to peanuts, tree nuts and fish. The record for Child #1 did not include a written allergy care plan. 2. Child #2?s record indicates an allergy to egg. The record for Child #2 did not include a written allergy care plan. 3. Child #3?s record indicates an allergy to ketchup and sour cream. The record for Child #3 did not include a written allergy care plan.
