Technical assistance today included allergy action plans.
Comments:
An unannounced health and safety inspection took place today. I observed children involved in activities including painting craft turkeys and building with Legos. I also observed preparation for lunch and nap. This inspection, along with the previous inspection for Virginia Licensing, meets the requirements for the SSHI inspection. Based on a review of children's files today, there were some children with diagnosed allergies that required emergency intervention but no documentation of a care plan. Evidence: There were no allergy action plans for three of five children who had serious diagnosed allergies.
