Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 10/27/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were five children present, ranging in ages from 1 year to 4 years, with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records, 1 provider record and five household member records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on review of five household member records it was determined that not all household members obtained a tuberculosis (TB) screening every two years. Evidence: The most recent dates for TB screenings on file for the following household members are as follows: household member A-09/06/2019, household member B-03/20/2019, household member C-08/30/2019.
Plan of Correction:
Household Member's A, B, and C will obtain new TB screenings and submit the results to the provider for their record.
