Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on 10/18/2019 from 1:30pm to 5:05pm. The children were observed playing with toys, reading books, participating in story time, putting puzzles together, watching television and eating snack. Today, there were five children, totaling 10 points, present with two caregivers. Interviews were held with the caregivers throughout the inspection. Additionally, when appropriate the inspector interacted with children. Snack consisted of cereal and fruit. The provider does not administer medication. The provider does not provide transportation. The provider does not have pets. Five children?s records, and two caregiver records were reviewed during the inspection. Last emergency drill: 10/12/2019 Last shelter-in-place drill: 10/12/2019

Based on observation, the provider did not ensure to follow the most recent, age-appropriate nutritional requirements of a recognized authority such as the Child and Adult Care Food Program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Evidence: The inspector observed the provider serve the school age students one of the two required meal components for snack.

On Fridays the children get to pick whatever they want and it will never happen again.

Description:
Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that child-resistant protective covers larger than 1-1/4 inches in diameter shall be installed on all unused electrical outlets and surge protectors accessible to children under five years of age. Evidence: There were five uncovered outlets in the living room and kitchen. Some of the uncovered outlets were accessible to children.
