Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 31 children in care, with a total of 4 staff members assigned to their direct supervision. Children's records, the physical plant, emergency preparedness items, children's medication items, children's nutrition, and classroom interactions were inspected today.
The children were observed eating lunch from home, reading books, and enjoying free choice activity time. This inspection took place on a public school closure day.

Based on a review of children's records, it was determined that one record does not contain all required information. Evidence: Child record D does not include the information for two emergency contacts other than the child's parents.

Description:
Based on observations, it was determined that staff did not sit with children during meal time. Evidence: Upon arrival, all children were observed sitting down and eating lunch, with two staff members present. The Inspector observed both of these staff members standing and walking around while the children were eating lunch. The staff did not sit with the children during lunch.
Plan of Correction:
We will sit with the children on days they eat lunch at SACC.
