Comments:
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 01/02/2020 from 11:20 am - 2:30 pm. A renewal inspection was concurrently conducted as this facility is a licensed child day center. There were a total of 16 children in care, ages infant - four years, with four staff. Two administrative staff were also present. Children were observed during lunch and nap. Records were reviewed for five staff and six children.
Based on classroom review and interview, the vendor failed to maintain a current written list of all children's allergies.
Evidence: 1. The diagnosed food allergy, for child 1, was not included on the allergy list in the toddler classroom. 2. Classroom staff confirmed that child 1's food allergy had not been added to the allergy list for the class.
Plan of Correction:
The child was added to the allergy list during the inspection.
