A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on February 1, 2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 58 children were in care with 13 staff members present. Children were observed during centers, story time, sensory activities, painting, and engaged in group activities. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on record review, staff does not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care within 90 days of employment. Evidence: 1. Staff #2's record (Date of hire-10/18/2021) did not have documentation of CPR within 90 days of employment.
Plan of Correction:
The director stated that the employee was trained in CPR; however, documentation could not be found.
