A complaint inspection was completed on 09/07/2023. A complaint was received by the department regarding allegations in the areas of: food storage; storage of hazardous substances; ratio; building maintenance; and toileting procedures. Observations and staff interviews were conducted during the inspection. The evidence gathered during the investigation supported the allegation of non-compliance with the standards regarding storage of hazardous substances. Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure hazardous substances such as cleaning materials in a locked place preventing access by children. Evidence: The kitchen and laundry room that were open and accessible to children contained bleach and liquid hand soap with warning labels to keep out of reach of children and hazardous to humans.
