The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Director was contacted via Zoom meeting to conduct the inspection. A total of 91 children and 14 staff were on site during the inspection. A virtual observation was made of the Infant 1 class, Toddlers class and the playground with one class present. The children were observed riding the new tricycles on the playground. Staff were observed spread out to ensure adequate supervision. Face to name was inspected to verify location of the children. In the Infant class, some infants were observed sleeping and being held by staff and engaging in floor play. Some of the rooms were decorated with artwork completed by the children, a friends board and playground sign identification activity. A total of 3 children's files and 3 staff files were reviewed and found complete. Thank you for your participation with this inspection process.
