Reminder that every caregiver needs 16 hours of training annually.
Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, there were 9 children (23 points) with 2 caregivers. The children were observed playing with floor toys, coloring, handwashing, eating morning snack, and eating lunch. Lunch consisted of Chicken Nuggets, green beans, pineapple and milk was served. The physical plant, children's records, caregiver's records, evacuation drill logs, attendance logs, menu's, emergency plans, cribs and emergency supplies were inspected. Based on review of children's record, the provider failed to ensure that each child has a physical within 30 days of their first day of attendance.
Evidence: Child # 2, #4 and #5's files do not contain documentation of a physical 30 days after the first day of attendance.

Description:
Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that areas and furnishings of the family day home inside and outside shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condtion.
Evidence: 1) The wall behind the table where the children eat has had the paint scraped off of it. 2) The first white crib has has the paint chipping off.
