A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 11 children present ( 1 child lives in the home) (31 points)/ 3 caregivers.The children were observed during hand washing and during diaper changing. The children were observed during breakfast, breakfast consisted of cereal, bananas and milk. The children were also observed creating valentine cards for parents and listening to friends valentine wishes.
The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
