An unannounced inspection was initiated on 7/18/24 and completed on 7/18/24 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 7/15/24 relating to allegations of supervision and capacity. This inspection included interviews and observations.
The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
The provider shall ensure that the total number of children receiving care at any one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity of the home. On 7/18/2024 at 10:35am, there were 15 children aged 12 months-10 years in care in the family day home. The family day home is licensed for a maximum capacity of 12 children.
Plan of Correction:
While the inspector was present, 3 children were sent home, leaving 12 children in care.
