Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 02/25/2022 and concluded on 03/07/3022. The licensee was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There was 1 child and1 caregiver. The inspector emailed the licensee a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 3 caregiver records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
Based on observation the licensee did not ensure all areas of the home were maintained in a safe condition. The deck located in the backyard had rough, peeling and splintered wood.
Plan of Correction:
The licensee has already scheduled to have the deck railing replaced.
