Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 9/29/2022. There were 3 children present, totaling 7 points, with the provider supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 2 caregiver/household records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations were reviewed with the provider during the exit interview. The provider responded with the plan of correction via email.
Based upon review of two household records, the provider has not ensured that a tuberculosis screening is obtained every two years. Evidence: The most recent tuberculosis screening on record for household member 2 is dated 6/10/2020.
Plan of Correction:
The provider responded with the following: Household member 2 went for his yearly but had recently had a COVID booster. They said if he get it now that it could come up as false positive and you may then have to take a chest X-ray to rule it out. They suggested to wait and the come back to make sure the COVID booster didn?t interfere with the reading.
