An exit interview was conducted with the site supervisor to discuss the results of today's inspection.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, October 18, 2019 to determine the program's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 3:30pm and concluded at approximately 5:00pm. Upon arrival, fifty school age children were in attendance being supervised by four staff. Children were observed entering the program, using the restroom, eating snack, participating in arts & crafts, interacting with staff, and departing for the evening. Today's snack consisted of goldfish crackers and apple sauce. All areas used by children were inspected to include the cafeteria, main hallways, children's restrooms, and outdoor play areas.
The program had the required postings displayed on the bulletin board upon entering the cafeteria. The program's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with the required supplies found. Five children's records and four staff emergency records were inspected with required information present. Full staff records were reviewed at the YMCA main office on 08/06/2019. The following was also inspected on this day: annual fire & health inspections, fire/shelter-in-place drills, emergency preparedness plan, injury prevention plan, parent agreements, and other pertinent information.
