A complaint inspection was initiated on 11/17/2023 and concluded on 12/7/2023. There were 30 children present with eight staff supervising, one program director and one cook present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staffing and supervision, special care and nutrition.
No violations resulting from the complaint inspection however, Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observations and interviews the center failed to ensure that Bottles shall not be propped or used while the child is in his designated sleeping location. Evidence: While touring the infant room there was found a crib mattress propped up with a square pillow. The staff stated that the infant that occupies this crib is propped up in the crib to drink the bottle.
Plan of Correction:
The director discussed with the staff that bottles shall not be propped or used while in the child's designated sleeping location.
