Based on a review of staff records, the center failed to ensure that the Virginia Department of Education sponsored orientation course was completed within 90 days of employment.
Evidence: 1. Staff #1's date of employment was 03/03/2022. The training certificate was dated 06/24/2022. The training was required to be completed by 06/03/2022. 2. Administration verified the date of employment and the date the training was completed.
Plan of Correction:
In the future administration will request that the training be required within 60 days of employment to ensure that compliance is met.
