1. Reviewed child care subsidy attendance requirements.
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. An area of non-compliance of the SHSI requirements were found. Based on records requested and submitted for review, it was determined that 1 of 2 staff records did not include documentation of the VDOE sponsored orientation course within 90-days of employment. Evidence: Staff #6 - The training certificate was requested by the inspector for review and not submitted by the licensee. Date of hire was 11/8/21.
