Comments:
An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today at 11:20 am. There were 9 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed eating lunch and watching a children's television program. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on record review, not all staff had the results of a national criminal background check conducted within the preceding five years. Evidence: Adult 1's record contains a national criminal background check that was conducted on 1/29/2018.
Plan of Correction:
Made an APPT. ONLINE w/ fieldprint for criminal background check on March 24, 2023. Provider will make note to do another one before the 5 yr expiration
