Assure that the center has all medications onsite identified on the allergy care plan in the event if there is a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.
Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on 11/15/2022 from approximately 9:17 a.m. - 2:35 p.m. There were 56 children present ranging in ages from 4 months to 4 years old and 8 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, qualifications and training, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies, and nutrition. A total of 5 child records, 7 staff records and 4 board officer records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or law. A violation notice was issued. Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today, 12/06/2022. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventive measure(s).
Based on staff record review, the provider failed to ensure program leader qualifications for two (2) staff designated as program leaders. Evidence: Records for S3 and S4 did not contain documentation showing possession of Program Leader qualifications by either: meeting endorsement or bachelor?s degree requirement; educational requirements and programmatic experience; or supervised programmatic experience.
