Comments:
The inspector conducted an unannounced mandated inspection from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. 39 children were in care with staff supervising at all times. The family service worker was also present. Children were observed during rest time, finishing snack, at centers, and lining up for and getting on the bus. Medications and the corresponding paperwork was reviewed. Six children's records were reviewed. The violation is identified on the violation notice. Please call your inspector at 276-698-9981 with any questions.
Based on observation, the center did not maintain the outside is a safe condition. Evidence: 1. The inspector observed black landscaping cloth exposed in 3-4 different areas of the playground.
Plan of Correction:
Mulch has been ordered.
