Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on November 6, 2019 as a result of a complaint that was received by the Valley Licensing Office on October 22, 2019 regarding standard 22VAC40-185-(8). Interviews were conducted with one staff on November 6, 2019 and the second staff on December 2, 2019. The information gathered during this investigation supports the allegation, therefore the complaint is valid.
Please complete your plan of correction within five business days and return to the licensing inspector.

Basing feeding ed on staff interview and documentation review, one center staff propped a bottle to feed one child who was unable to hold his own bottle.
Evidence: 1. Two staff were interviewed. 2. Staff #1 stated she propped the bottle for one child while she went to change another child's diaper. 3. Staff #1 stated she did not know bottles couldn't be propped during feeding.
Plan of Correction:
All staff have been re-trained on infant room food policies and feeding procedures, The Virginia Department of social services standard (22VAC40-185-(7)-500- B).
