Comments: Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on November 6, 2019 as a result of a complaint that was received by the Valley Licensing Office on October 11, 2019 regarding the allegation of standard 22VAC40-185-(7). Interviews were conducted. The information gathered supports the allegation therefore, the complaint is valid. Please complete your plan of correction within five business days and return to your licensing inspector. Violations: Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-B Complaint related: No Description: Based on staff interviews and documentation, the center failed to change one child's diaper immediately after being wet/soiled. Evidence: 1. Staff #1 stated in reviewing of center video, on October 3, 2019, Child #1 did not have his diaper changed after approximately 9:37 a.m. 2. Child #1 was picked up from care at approximately 5:30 p.m. 3. The center did not change Child #1's diaper immediately after being soiled or wet. Plan of Correction: All staff have been re-trained on the diapering procedure, and the Virginia Department of social services standard (22VAC40-185-(8)-B).
