Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:15 - 11:30 am with the provider. There were five children in care, ranging from six months to four years of age for a total of 13 points. The children were observed playing with a variety of toys, washing hands and eating snack, and completing puzzles. Four children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two caregiver/household member records were reviewed and in compliance. Two cats are current with vaccinations. The provider exceeds required annual training hours with 28 hours of continuing education. The emergency drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, battery operated flashlight and weather band radio were observed and in compliance. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care.
