Comments:
A monitoring inspection was completed on 10/25/22. 30 children were in care with 5 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and three staff files were reviewed at the main office office on 09/29/22. The inspection started at 11:05 a.m. 12:05 p.m.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
The center failed to collect all the required information for each child enrolled. Evidence: 1. Child #5 had a diagnosed food allergy and there was no written care plan for the child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.
Plan of Correction:
staff will obtain a written care plan that meets the requirement from the parent and physician.
