An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 8:50am to 10:15am. There were 17 children in care, ranging from three to five years of age, supervised by three staff. The children were observed during morning greeting, going to the bathroom, washing hands, having breakfast, having circle time, listening to the story, "When I Was Five", and in center play. Five children?s records were reviewed and were in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed for the required on-site information and were in compliance. Three staff have current certification in CPR and First Aid as well as Medication Administration Training. There are no medications on site at this time. The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed and were in compliance. The most recent evacuation drill was documented as 1/24/20 and the most recent shelter-in-place was documented as 10/17/19. Breakfast today was biscuits with butter or jelly, fruit juice, and milk.
