This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The department received a complaint regarding allegations in the areas of supervision and parent notification, and a subsequent investigation was initiated on 03/03/2021 and concluded on 03/11/2021. The inspector contacted the vendor by telephone and video call to conduct the investigation. The inspector emailed the vendor a list of documentation required to complete the investigation. Staff members were interviewed and observations were made via video call. Additionally, the inspector reviewed COVID-19 guidelines and parent notification requirements with the provider.
The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegations of non-compliance with standards or law.
