Comments:
A code compliance inspection was initiated and concluded on 4/24/2024. There were 106 children present with 21 staff supervising and 2 administrators. Children were observed during outside time, snack time, and engaged in various centers in the classrooms. A total of 9 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:30 am and concluded at 10:35 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable code sections and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on inspection and interview with staff, the center has not established and implemented procedures for a daily simple health screening and exclusion of sick children by a trained person.
Evidence: The director confirmed that there was no documentation of a trained person on site to conduct a daily simple health screening.
Plan of Correction:
Director took training 4/25/2024.
