Technical Assistance:
Discussed hire dates, orientation and the requirements for background checks prior to training staff. Discussed TB test and the new requirements. Discussed the mulch and the need to rake it. Discussed immunization records and the requirements.
Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 3/30/2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 81 children present, ranging in ages from infants to 5 years old, with 16 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Based on review of five staff records, the center did not obtain the fingerprint results prior to date of hire. Evidence: 1. Staff #3 (Date of hire 3/25/2021) had fingerprint results dated 3/31/2021.
