Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted 01/11/2024. There were a total of 5 children (13 points) observed with 2 caregivers present. The children were engaged in the following: playing with toys. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel and household members, physical environment, care of children, handwashing, diapering, medication, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 2 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of provider and caregiver records, the FDH did not ensure background checks were repeated every five years. Evidence: Caregiver 1 had fingerprints that expired on 09/11/2023. Caregiver 2 had fingerprints that expired on 10/02/2023.
Plan of Correction:
We are trying to get our background check code. Once we do we will get our fingerprint checks completed.
