Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. An area of non-compliance with the supplemental SHSI requirements were found. Based on records reviewed, caregivers did not complete the department's health and safety training annually.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #1 last completed the training on 3/16/22. 2. Caregiver #2 last completed the training on 3/16/22. 3. Caregiver #3 last completed the training on 3/24/22.
Plan of Correction:
Caregivers #1, #2 and #3 will all complete the Health and Safety training by 2/18/24.
