Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The provider was contacted via Facetime to complete the inspection. There were a total of 5 children with 2 staff present during the inspection. The children were transitioning after lunch to nap time. Staff were observed wearing masks on site and protocols were in place regarding Covid-19. Observation of the programming space, crib room, bathroom and secondary room used for school aged children was made. A total of 2 children's records were reviewed. No new staff/household members since the last inspection. All background checks remain current. Thank you for your cooperation with this inspection process. Based on child record review, one child record was not maintained up to date. Evidence: According to the Provider, Child #2 began care on 06/01/2020. Documentation found in the record indicates a start date of 06/26/2020.

Description:
Based on review of children's records, one child's proof of identity was not obtained within seven business days of the child's first day of attendance. Evidence: Child # 2 began care on 6/01/20. The documented review date of the child's proof of identity was dated 07/12/2020.
Plan of Correction:
All proof of identities/birth certificates will be reviewed within 7 days of enrollment and documentation will be maintained in their records.
