Technical assistance was offered regarding: Diapering procedures.
Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 10/7/21. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 3 children (6 points) present, ranging in ages from infants to 4 years old, with 1 caregiver supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A virtual walk through of the family day home was conducted. 2 children's records, 1 caregiver's record and emergency drill records were reviewed. There were no medications in site. Food from home was labeled and dated. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards, and cited on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on staff interview, the family day home provider did not obtain results of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) screening prior for an adult household member. Evidence: 1. The provider stated that Household Member(HHM) # 1 resides in the family day home. 2. Results of a negative TB screening were not available for review for HHM # 1.
Plan of Correction:
The TB testing will be done by 11/9/21.
