A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on Monday, March 9, 2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived at 9:50am and concluded the inspection at approximately 12:20pm. The center?s directors and owners were present and assisted the inspector throughout the inspection. The census for today?s inspection consisted of 43 children in the direct care of 12 staff members. Upon arrival, the children were engaged in a variety of activities. Each classroom was inspected and formal observations were completed. The center is equipped with age and stage appropriate materials and equipment for the children?s use. All areas where the children receive care, inside and outside, were inspected. The center had the following posted: license, daily schedules, emergency numbers, evacuation maps, menu, special orders, and various parent information. The center?s first aid kit and non-emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. During the inspection, five children?s records and five staff records were reviewed. Medication is administered and three emergency medications were reviewed today. The most recent evacuation drill was documented on 03/04/2020. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented on 09/17/2019. A lockdown drill was conducted on 08/19/2019.

A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations found during this supplemental inspection.
