Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including phone contacts, and documents review. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 10/29/21 and concluded on 10/15/2021. The director was contacted by phone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 7 children present, ranging in ages from infant to 4 years old with 1provider supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and two staff records were reviewed. The inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, the provider did not have age appropriate certification in first aid and cpr. Evidence: 1. The inspector reviewed a first aid and cpr card that expires 6/18/2022 but it is not for infants and children.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will find a first aid and cpr class that is for children and infants and get certified.
