An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on April 4, 2024 from approximately 12:30pm - 3:10pm. The inspection concluded on April 4, 2024. The children were observed during nap time. There were 37 children and 9 staff present during the inspection. Outside area was inspected.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable requirements and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, the facility did not ensure staff who lived ouside of Virginia in the past five years had results from the search of the child abuse and neglect registry .
Evidence: Staff #1 hired 10/23/23 lived in South Carolina . The center did not have documentation of the child abuse and neglect search was submitted or results were recieved in the staff #1's record.
