Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 02/15/2024. There was one 4 year old child, totaling 2 points, and one caregiver present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, care of children, environment and equipment, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 children?s records, 1 caregiver record, 1 household member, and 2 pet records were reviewed. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 9:00 am and departed at 10:00 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.
Based on record review, the provider failed to obtain a minimum of 16 clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.
Evidence: There was only a total of 5.5 hours of training obtained by Caregiver 1 in 2023.
Plan of Correction:
Will get the required 16 hours of training this year.
