Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 3/11/2021 and concluded on 3/12/2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 23 children present and 8 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records, 2 staff records, and 1 board member's record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on staff statements, crib sheets are not laundered daily. Evidence: Staff 1 stated that infant crib sheets are laundered weekly.
Plan of Correction:
Retrain staff to ensure crib sheets are laundered daily.
