Comments:
An unannounced mandated inspection was completed on 11/19/2019 from 11:20 A.M.-3:30 P.M. At the time of the inspection 52 children were in care with fourteen staff and one administrator present. Five children records, seven staff records, four over the counter diaper ointments and documentation, one emergency medication and required documentation, five injury reports, emergency plan, first aid kits, emergency supplies, health inspection, fire inspection, injury prevention plan, parent handbook, and posted required information were reviewed. Children were observed during infant feeding,diaper change, large group activity that included singing and storytime, infant interactions, handwashing, lunchtime, transition to naptime, departure of half day students, and naptime. The exceptions to compliance are noted on the violation notice.

Based on review of the parent handbook, the center failed to ensure all required information was in the parent handbook.
Evidence: 1. The parent handbook did not include the center's transportation policy, procedures for verifying that only persons authorized by the parent are allowed to pick up the child, and the custodial parent's right to be admitted to the center.
Plan of Correction:
Administration added the policies to the handbook and will distribute copies to the parents and staff.
