Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A complaint inspection was conducted on October 22, 2020. A complaint was received by the department on October 15, 2020 regarding allegations in the area of program director qualifications. The director was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. The director emailed the licensing inspector requested documentation required to complete the investigation.
The evidence gathered during the investigation supported a portion of the allegation of non-compliance with the standards or law and violations were issued, therefore a potion of the allegation is valid. The areas of non-compliance can be found on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on record review and interview, the center failed to ensure that there was documentation of management experience for the current director.
Evidence: 1. There was no documentation of management experience for the current director in the staff record. 2. Staff verified that they are currently enrolled in a course in Child Administration, but the course is not yet completed.
Plan of Correction:
The Program Director has been completing a Child Administration course and it is almost complete. The director will complete the last two chapter and schedule the test. Once the certificate is obtained the program director will send to the Licensing Inspector for verification.
