11/9/23 Arrived 2:15pm Departed 3:15pm An unannounced Code compliance inspection was conducted today. There were 43 school-aged children in care with four classroom staff and two administrators. The children were doing art activities and playing outdoors. Three child records, and three staff records, were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation. Please contact me if I may be of service.
Based on the review of three staff files, the facility failed to ensure that all employees complete all required background checks within the required time frame. Evidence: 1. There is no central registry clearance on file for staff #3. Hire date 8-14-23

Plan of Correction:
The program director reported that the CPS clearance was submitted, but due to an error, it was returned. It will be resubmitted today.
