Staff will provide adequate, age-appropriate activities for all children on field trips. When children are on field trips where shopping is permitted, an age-appropriate activity should be provided for those children that are not able to participate in shopping. Staff should be actively supervising their assigned group(s) during these activities.

An investigation was conducted on July 18, 2019 from 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to investigate a complaint regarding supervision. Interviews were conducted, documentation, children's records and staff records were reviewed. There was not sufficient evidence to support the complaint regarding supervision, therefore the complaint is determined to be not valid.
