Technical Assistance:
A written allergy plan from a physician is needed for any child with a diagnosed food allergy regardless if the child has medication on site or not.
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted today with the directors. Fifty five children and ten staff were present during the walk through. The center is up to date with their annual lock-down drill and three allergy plans were reviewed today. Arrival time: 10:50 am Departure time: 1:20 pm
Based on a review of the allergy list and an interview with the director, it was determined that child A has a diagnosed food allergy to peanuts, tree nuts and eggs however there was no allergy plan on site.
Plan of Correction:
We will get an allergy plan.
