Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10:50am-12:35pm. There were 5 children (18 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records,1 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on inspection of Family Day Home it was determined that areas of the home contained visible cracks and chipping paint.
Evidence: During inspection the bathroom used by children in care contained a crack and chipping paint over the sink.
